This post is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Fundraising team as the Events, Community and Regional (ECR) Manager who will lead the implementation of our national fundraising strategy, project managing a range of challenge events and community fundraising activities, whilst supporting a team of two.

The ECR Manager is responsible for designing and delivering an ECR programme focused on growth in supporter engagement and income.

Over the next 12 months, this role will review all aspects of the current ECR programme and implement new strategic ways of working. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide line management, motivational and developmental support to the Regional Partnerships Coordinator and National Events and Community Officer.
  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of events, along with key high-value relationships within ECR.
  • Work closely with other key fundraising colleagues to review and implement strategic changes across the ECR programme.
  • Support income growth through the recruitment and retention of donors, whilst taking our fundraisers on an exceptional supporter journey.
  • Ongoing project management, driving projects forward to keep on track in time and with positive outcomes.

In this role you will work flexibly from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

About you
