The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) gives old buildings a future. We help people to look after old buildings, making them fit for the future while keeping their historic character. We do this through casework, technical research and advice, education and training, awards, outreach and events across the UK and Ireland.

We are now recruiting for a Senior Fundraising Manager, who will play a vital role in securing the financial resources necessary to support the organisation's strategic initiatives and operations, as well as helping to maintain relationships and networks to drive long-term funding.

Working closely with the Leadership and wider staff team, the Senior Fundraising Manager will be responsible for planning and delivering a comprehensive fundraising strategy. This will encompass a variety of sources to build a stronger and more sustainable income portfolio to support the SPAB’s strategic initiatives and operations; engaging with funders and building lasting relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) to maximise funding opportunities.

The Senior Fundraising Manager will provide expertise and coordination for fundraising activities across the organisation, working with, advising, and supporting colleagues from multiple teams to secure funding. The postholder will also take a lead role in bid development to support cross-organisation strategic opportunities.
