We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our corporate partnerships team, to win new partnerships to add to our portfolio which includes our iconic Big Knit partnership with innocent, our COTY partnership with Yorkshire Building Society and several multi-million strategic partnerships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling propositions that generate income across a range of income streams, from strategic to brand partnerships as well as charity of the year. You'll manage a portfolio of prospects from a range of sectors to secure high value corporate partnerships that deliver across a range of objectives enabling us to help more older people who need us.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious and tenacious relationship builder to join our creative and energetic team to help create sector leading, award-winning partnerships.

The Business Development manager position offers hybrid working between home and our London co-working hub, surrounded by excellent amenities and overlooking Tower Bridge. Due to the hybrid nature of the role, you will be required to work from our co-working hub at least once a week (currently every Thursday).

You will have:

* Experience of being in a similar role or environment, ideally corporate partnerships (or sales or marketing professional)
* Tenacity, the ability to build strong relationships, spot opportunities and run with them.
* Excellent communication skills, and the ability to write great proposals, lead productive meetings and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
* A strong grasp of what it takes to build mutually beneficial, long-lasting, genuinely profitable charity-corporate partnerships.
* You are passionate about making life better for older people. And crucially you can see how corporate partnerships can help Age UK do this.
