At Blood Cancer UK, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and creative fundraiser to join our team to work across Mass Participation events and products to get us closer to our goal of beating blood cancer within a generation by helping us bring in money through events fundraising. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their fundraising career while gaining a broad experience in a dynamic and supportive team.

We are looking for a candidate that has potential, not perfection. You will have a dynamic, innovative and problem-solving attitude alongside an aptitude to learn and develop your skillset. We would encourage all applicants who are interested in the role, and passionate about delivering fundraising events and campaigns, to apply.

As a charity, we are hugely proud of the impact we have had on behalf of people affected by blood cancer. The £500million we have invested in research over the last 60 years has saved many thousands of lives. This is an exciting time to join Blood Cancer UK as we are now in a position where the day we will beat blood cancer is finally in sight.

As a fundraising team we see our growth coming from not just investing in traditional channels and products but in developing new and innovative ways for us to engage and inspire the public to beat blood cancer. This is a unique role that will work across the Mass Participation events portfolio. This means you will be responsible for project managing and maximising income across a suite of third party, bespoke and virtual mass participation events. The ideal candidate for us will have experience in working on sports, mass participation or equivalent events, digital marketing experience and excellent project management skills above all.

Responsibilities will include day to day management of third-party events such as Ride London and London Marathon, virtual fundraising products, and support on the development of our new flagship bespoke event, Walk of Light. Excellent communication skills and a flexibility to work with internal teams and external suppliers will be required.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
