Fundraising Officer

Full Time (37.5 hrs/week) 12 months fixed term contract (with potential to extend)

Salary up to £25k

Do you want to use your excellent donor engagement and fundraising skills to help build rewarding donor experiences? Do you want to be part of a diverse and dynamic team committed to growing a highly engaged breast cancer prevention community?

We are a national breast cancer charity focussed entirely on breast cancer prevention through: -

  • Funding scientific research into the preventable risk factors 

  • Educating and raising awareness of preventable risk factors and providing practical information to empower people to reduce their risk 

  • Campaigning for policy changes that promote the prevention of breast cancer.

The origins of Breast Cancer UK are in science, the charity is known for its scientific research and campaigns on the links between certain environmental chemicals and breast cancer, we also promote awareness and understanding of lifestyle risk factors. 

We are looking to build our team with talented, motivated, and ambitious individuals who want to contribute to helping us become the leading voice in breast cancer prevention. Specifically, we are looking for a fundraising professional with knowledge ad experience in developing regular giving and major donor streams as well as individual and in-memory giving.

About you 

You will be a highly organised, focussed, and dynamic fundraising professional with a talent for generating support for an important cause. You will have an interest in breast cancer and/or public health prevention and a love for building meaningful connections and supporter journeys. You will be a self-riven team player, content to work remotely and ready to drive forward a busy programme of work. Ideally, we would be looking for the candidates to join our team before the end of the year.
