With CBM you can help reach the world’s forgotten people

Too many people face poverty and isolation, denied the chance to go to school or earn and living, just because they have a disability. CBM works in the world’s poorest places to prevent blindness, improve health and transform the lives of people with disabilities. With 45 UK staff we’re currently raising £9m each year; as part of a Global Federation we’re working in 48 countries. This is a truly exciting time to join us at the start of our ambitious new ‘Breaking Barriers’ strategy, as we fight to end the cycle of poverty and disability.

Working with a supportive, flexible employer

The well-being of our team is central to how we work: we encourage a healthy work-life balance, offer flexi-time and up to 50% working from home. Our team benefit from excellent personal development opportunities and we offer the chance to undertake fully-funded training or study. We’re an organisation based on Christian values welcoming staff of all faiths and none – it’s the basis of why we do what we do, with opportunities for prayer for staff who want to, but we do not evangelise. CBM is an equal opportunities, disability-confident employer and committed to achieving the highest standards of diversity, fairness and equality.

Your key responsibilities as Marketing Manager

An excellent development opportunity to help us achieve our ambitious long-term goals, we’re recruiting for an experienced marketing or fundraising professional for this newly created position. It’s a fantastic opportunity to manage an established direct and digital marketing programme as we target significant growth over the next five years and move to the next level in our individual fundraising.

Responsible for the development and growth of CBM’s varied cultivation, acquisition, regular giving and church fundraising programme, the Marketing Manager will lead a talented team of three and be responsible for a multi-million pound budget. The role will work closely with the Head of Marketing as part of a dynamic Fundraising and Communications team of 20. We create extraordinary and wonderful moments in our supporters’ lives as we seek to transform the lives of people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places.
