An exciting opportunity for someone who is working to diversify their experience in the charity sector, working closely with the Chief Executive. We are looking for an allrounder who will be happy to engage with various tasks and responsibilities across the organisation. The Fundraising & Communications Officer who will support our CEO in the UK across a wide range of fundraising and communications activities, working both with our loyal supporters and to secure new support from individuals, community organisations, trusts and foundations and corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities

To work proactively to identify, research and develop new partnerships (corporates, community organisations, trusts and foundations) through the creation and management of a robust pipeline

To support community fundraising events and challenges

To secure new corporate relationships including strategic partners, brand  partnerships, grant giving and/or charity of the year to contribute to meeting financial targets

To develop effective, relevant, and innovative funding proposals, cases for support and pitches for potential and current partners

To research new streams of income and potential partners

To support the production of evaluation and impact reports

To produce our quarterly newsletter

To manage website, newsletter and social media, particularly to grow giving

All relevant administration tasks including thanking and recognition, monthly activity reporting, management of general inbox and updating and maintaining our database

To work in a way that reflects and supports our values

To contribute to the identification and development of new opportunities in support of the Fundraising Growth Plan and Organisational Strategy

Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade and relevant to the objectives of the organisation as agreed with the Chief Executive.
