Legacy Fundraising Executive

There are big plans for our clients Fundraising Function as they continue to grow awareness and generate funds for their local emergency service. They utilise multiple tools and revenue streams to do this and one of those is fundraising In memory of loved ones and those who are generous to leave them a legacy in their will. They are looking to recruit a Legacy and In Memory Fundraiser who will help grow this area of the Charity. This will happen by delivering a number of different tactical objectives within the role which include;

Legacy Fundraising Executive Responsibilities:

• Develop a series of events that will help grow this area of their business within their key geographical areas.
• Developing and managing their online presence working with their marketing team to grow awareness for Legacy and In Memory revenue stream.
• Lead on key annual projects such as Remember A Charity week including collaborating with other functions such as retail to drive success.
• Build long standing relationships with their supporters and volunteers to help develop awareness of the function.

Legacy Fundraising Executive Requirements:

For this role it would be great to have someone from a fundraising background however the key skills with this role are all about communication both verbally/written and an ability to be able to engage people with their service. There will be elements of public speaking to our potential supporters with the role (both virtually and in person) so this is also something comfortable with. They will of course give full training on the content required. If you like to manage events you will have ample opportunity to do create and lead on these.

Our client provides paediatric transfers across the UK. Their objective is to save lives, utilising specialist pilots, doctors, and paramedics and with their work centred on saving lives, improving clinical outcomes and being able to react quickly and efficiently to emergencies.

They are at the forefront of innovative clinical care and they challenge boundaries. None of this can be achieved without a hugely dedicated team of colleagues, volunteers and the general public.

Environment:

They have moved to hybrid working so they can be fairly flexible on location. There will be occasional travel to their office in Rugby on occasion however you will predominantly be based from home. To give further flexibility their core working hours are 10am – 3pm and its up to you to fit your workload in around this.
