We are a movement of students sharing and living out the good news of Jesus Christ. Locally. Nationally. Globally.

IFES works in more than 180 countries to establish and support student-led indigenous Christian movements. At the heart of everything we do is a desire to see students thriving together as communities of disciples, transformed by the gospel and impacting the university, the church and society for the glory of Christ. IFES ministry is supported behind the scenes by International Services based in Asia, the UK and the USA.

We are looking for a major donor fundraiser. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in building and developing relationships with IFES’ highest-level donors. You will be joining us at a crucial time, as we implement our new strategic plan, Thriving Together. We are searching for a candidate who loves people, is great at building relationships, and can demonstrate their passion for the IFES vision and mission. With on-the-job training provided, you do not need to have major donor fundraising experience, although we are looking for transferable experience.

In this role, you will secure funds for IFES ministry by managing a selection of major donor prospects who might give significant annual gifts, producing high-quality written proposals and creating personalised communications with major donors and prospects. The successful candidate will have outstanding personal skills, being diplomatic, persuasive and credible at senior level, and having experience at managing relationships at senior or Board level. You will be able to demonstrate analytical ability, as well as strong influencing and negotiating skills. You will be able to demonstrate awareness of relationships in an interdenominational and international organisation, and you will enjoy working with a diverse team and range of partners in a cross-cultural context.

If you recognise the importance of evangelical student ministry, are confident in your ability to work internationally, and are looking for a challenging role in a forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.

What we offer:

  • generous pension scheme contribution
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
  • on the job training and development
