About the role

We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join the Regional and Corporate Fundraising team at Leonard Cheshire. The team works to raise awareness of Leonard Cheshire both locally and nationally and raise funds for our services and programmes supporting disabled people.  

You will be responsible for prospecting and building an income pipeline with a view to securing fundraised income to support unrestricted and restricted funding. The key focus will be corporate engagement identifying CSR, charity partnership, corporate volunteering, GIK and local corporate grant funds. This exciting role offers both the opportunity to develop new business and account management skills.

About you

You must be efficient, organised, and pro-active with strong communication skills. In this corporate focused role, you will secure new partnerships with large UK and Global companies across a diverse range of sectors.  

You will have experience applying for funding from corporates and trusts and stewarding those relationships. You will be an effective communicator and customer focussed individual. Many of our activities also rely on working across departments and will require someone with a confident manner who can work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation.
