LOROS Hospice is a local charity and every year we care for over 2,500 people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We deliver free, high-quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill patients, their family and carers.

Philanthropy and Partnerships Researcher Salary Range £21,000 to £25,000 per annum, pro- rata 30 hours per week

An excellent opportunity to develop a career in Philanthropic Giving has opened up at LOROS Hospice in Leicestershire. As a successful Philanthropy and Partnerships Researcher you will provide strategically aligned prospect research utilising a range of sources. The successful candidate will identify and research high net worth individuals, charitable trusts and foundations and institutional grant makers with a view to building the LOROS donor pipeline allowing the Philanthropic Giving Team to be more efficient with approaches, account management and cultivation. This is a varied role and will also allow the opportunity to manage a small Trust portfolio, draft funding applications and reports, provide stewardship to existing partners and support the development of the Major Donor Programme.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the Institute of Fundraising codes of practice, data protection legislation, partnerships, account management and a passion for donor and prospect research, recognising the importance it plays in fundraising.
