Salary: £38,028 - £44,187 depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent—some weekend and out of office working will be required
Location: Hybrid—Magpas Air Ambulance HQ, Alconbury Weald with travel across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, surrounding areas & homeworking
Reports to: Director of fundraising and marketing

Could you use your extensive corporate, community and events fundraising experience to build long-term sustainable income for a much-loved air ambulance charity?

Magpas Air Ambulance has been saving lives across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and the East of England for over 50 years. With a brand new, state-of-the-art airbase and HQ, and a well-established team of passionate fundraisers you’ll be joining at an exciting time with lots of opportunities to grow and develop these important income streams.

Role summary:

  • Produce and implement a sustainable corporate, community and events fundraising strategy, plan and budget which maximises income from existing supporters whilst increasing income through the acquisition of new support to meet annual targets
  • Lead and develop the corporate, community and events fundraising team and volunteers
  • Oversee and develop the charity's Community CPR programme
  • Oversee community engagement and events at the Magpas Air Ambulance base

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A strong background in fundraising with demonstrable success in raising income through community, corporate and events activity
  • Previous experience of creating and delivering a CCE fundraising strategy and budget
  • Demonstrable success in the delivery of excellent supporter stewardship and the development of stewardship plans
  • Experience of working alongside communications and marketing teams to successfully promote and market events
  • Experience of managing, motivating and developing corporate, community and events fundraisers and volunteers
  • Experience of using data for fundraising purposes including data analysis and reporting
