Fundraising and Partnership Manager

We are looking to grow our team and are recruiting a part time Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to help us develop income streams which include grant-making trusts, corporates, individual donors and legacy funding. The role will include developing and managing donor relationships, working with our partners to develop funding proposals, the design and delivery of community fundraising campaigns – alongside managing our social media and communications in order to reach out to supporters. You will work closely with our CEO as well as Papua based staff, our UK Board of Trustees, and local partners and volunteers.

Purpose of the Role 

1. Lead on the development and management of income generation for the organisation as a whole, as well as managing donor reporting where necessary.
2. Lead on communications to support fundraising, which includes development of campaigns across our website and social media, as well as keeping donors updated and engaged. 
3. Work as part of our small but ambitious international team, reporting directly into our UK-based CEO and working closely with our UK board of Trustees and West Papuan staff and partners to set and meet ambitious fundraising targets for both Papua Partners and local partner organisations.

This is the first role of this kind that the organisation has recruited. It is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop the role going forward.
