We are recruiting for the position of Supporter Retention Manager to join the Individual Giving Unit within our Fundraising directorate. In this role you will lead on the strategy and management of the supporter retention programme for all existing sponsors, regular donors and ‘cash’ supporters, to maximise lifetime value and deliver a sector-leading supporter experience. In this role, you will:

  • Develop the strategy, plans and budgets to maximise lifetime value from Plan’s supporter base, across key channels including direct mail, email and telemarketing.
  • Be accountable for delivery of the annual retention programme, managing and working closely with the Supporter Retention Officer and Digital Retention Officer
  • Lead on our emergency appeals to warm supporters.

You will need experience of working in a fundraising or marketing environment, and be able to demonstrate use of direct marketing techniques and of developing plans and strategies in order to increase both campaign and lifetime value. The successful candidate will have experience overseeing relationships with agencies and freelancers in order to develop effective creative, and have experience (or a good understanding of) line management.
