Legacy Administration Manager

Remote working

35 hours per week

Fixed-term contract for 12 months

The Legacy Administration Manager is a key role at RNID, responsible for legacy case management, with a focus on maximising legacy value for the charity.

You operate as a competent professional with minimum supervision. You have some autonomy and are able to make some decisions within the scope of your role. You plan your own work to meet given objectives. You have defined areas of responsibility, plan, schedule and monitor work to meet deadlines and other requirements (financial, legislative etc).

You perform a variety of complex technical and professional work activities in a variety of contexts. Due to experience gained, you provide guidance to, and resolve issues raised by less experienced staff, and managers. You produce complex letters and reports and may be responsible for a defined part of a project. You lead small projects and supervise the work of others on a day-to-day basis.

Communication is a basic human need. Yet most of us know someone who struggles to communicate through hearing loss. It can cause substantial harm to friendships, family relationships, confidence, employability, mental health and life chances.

The RNID (formerly Action on Hearing Loss) is the UK’s largest charity for the 11 million people in the UK who confront deafness, tinnitus and hearing loss every day. Established in 1911, we help people to take control of their lives and live the life they choose, removing the barriers standing in their way. We give people support and care, develop technology and treatments, and campaign for equality.

We champion the value of difference and equality and celebrate our diverse and inclusive workforce. We actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from BAME backgrounds or who are deaf or hard of hearing. With almost 20% of our employees having a disability we proudly hold Disability Confident Leader status and guarantee an interview for disabled applicants meeting the minimum essential criteria.

Closing date: 20 October 2021.
