Sightsavers is looking for a creative thinker with a passion for DRTV to join us as Senior Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition). This role is part of our rapidly growing Public Fundraising and Marketing department.

We are seeking a talented, motivated person to lead, manage, develop and execute donor acquisition plans across the UK and Norway, to monitor Swedish activity and collaborate with our fundraising colleagues in Ireland, Italy and India to support their acquisition activities.

As the Senior Individual Giving Manager (Acquisition) you will be responsible for a sector leading DRTV and insert programme in the UK, the development of new acquisition channels and supporter journeys across the UK and Norway. You will work closely with the Head of Norway to drive growth and move Norway from test phase to sustainable long-term individual giving. Some international travel will be conducted when possible.

In collaboration with the Senior Individual Giving Manager (Retention) you will also be responsible for an overall expenditure budget of £5m to achieve an overall target of £28.5m. Financial acumen is key as you will take a leading role in providing the annual budget for your area, alongside monthly forecasting and financial scenario planning.

Line managing a team of 2 Individual Giving Executives, the ability to manage and drive agencies to deliver exceptional results is also vital. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, high performing team; we offer a supportive and flexible work environment.

As the successful candidate you will have significant background in fundraising and proven experience in devising and implementing successful direct marketing campaigns to mass market audiences, as well as possessing substantial experience for a successful DRTV programme and experience and knowledge of financial management, control and prioritisation of budgets, including annual planning and monthly forecasting.
