Job title: Partnerships Coordinator
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,500, plus comprehensive benefits
Location: Home based (with occasional travel to head office in Milton Keynes)

We are a national charity that exists for spinal cord injured people, run by spinal cord injured (SCI) people. For more than 45 years, we have empowered spinal cord injured people to rebuild their lives after injury through provision of vital information, representation, and support. Spinal Injuries Association is a truly inspirational place to work.

Roughly 2,500 people each year sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury, and we are currently undergoing a period of rapid growth as a charity to match a huge demand for our services, to ensure that everyone affected by spinal cord injury can access the support they need, no matter their circumstances.

It is an exciting time to be joining SIA’s Partnerships team, with the recent launch of our Trusted Partnerships Scheme giving us huge scope to work with some of the largest firms in the UK Legal, Financial and Care sectors, with the opportunity for exponential growth over the next few years.

We are looking for someone to join our team and take a key role in both developing existing partnerships, and helping to identify and recruit new partners -to help us make a massive difference in the lives of the people we support every day. If you enjoy building outstanding, long-lasting relationships, are a strategic thinker, and love working collaboratively with committed stakeholders, then we could have the perfect job for you.

All of our Trusted Partners not only support the delivery of our services, but also take an active role in fundraising and awareness raising, campaigning, and our special events – with our Partnerships Coordinator having the chance to get stuck in and support our wider team in all of these areas (and more).

After a strong recovery from the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic, this is forecasted to be one of SIA’s strongest fundraising years ever, setting records both in terms of income generated, and funds allocated to services – aiming to support more SCI people than ever before!

We have ambitious plans to make SIA a leading figure in the charity sphere, and are hoping that you can help us take a step in the right direction, and change the lives of thousands of people every year.

Whether you already have a background in corporate fundraising or account management, or are looking to take a first step into the charity world: if you share our vision, are driven to do good, and love meeting new people, we would love to hear from you!

Application deadline is: 12pm, 8th July.
Interview’s week commencing 12
th July at SIA HQ or MS Teams
