The role

An excellent opportunity to join a passionate and enthusiastic team at an exciting time in our development. Our new 3-year strategy includes a focus on how we will expand the ways our community can engage with us through volunteering. We are looking to develop and build our volunteering programme across the whole organisation.

The successful candidate will work across the organisation to coordinate all aspects of the volunteer journey from recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing individual support. You will collaborate with team across the charity to identify the needs of the organisation and any potential new volunteering opportunities.

About you

We are looking for someone who has experience in both recruiting new volunteers and establishing excellent working relationships with existing volunteers. You will be enthusiastic about volunteering and the impact volunteers have on charities. You will be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone and email and be able to deal with people at all levels and situations.
