Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £18,000 - £21,500per annum

We are seeking a Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer who will work to increase levels of community engagement with Visyon’s work; raising the profile of the charity locally and recruiting fundraisers and volunteers to support income generation.

The post holder will work as part of the Visyon Marketing and Communications team, based primarily at Congleton but with some outreach across Cheshire East. Ideally, they will be an experienced community fundraiser with excellent network building skills, but candidates with demonstrable transferable skills from other backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

Working at Visyon requires strong communication and organisational skills; flexibility and creativity in approach; and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

The post may involve occasional evening and weekend work.
